Bryan Morris allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits in one inning. Justin Wilson gave up a run on two hits and struck out three in two innings. Jo-Jo Reyes pitched a scoreless inning. Chase d'Arnaud (.239) went 2 for 4 with a solo home run, his sixth of the year. Alex Presley (.302) and Matt Hague (.284) each went 2 for 4. Dallas McPherson (.264) went 1 for 4 and drove in a run.
AA - Altoona Curve (65-68) - Beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels 7-0. Jameson Taillon (2-0, 0.00 ERA) continued his dominant start in AA, pitching six innings of one hit ball and striking out seven. Hunter Strickland pitched three scoreless innings to pick up his second save. Gustavo Nunez (.231) went 2 for 4 with a double. Ramon Cabrera (.274) went 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Adalberto Santos (.353) went 1 for 4 and drove in a run. Matt Curry (.291) went 1 for 4 with a two run home run, his 11th of the year. Orlando Castro gave up four runs (three earned) on four hits in 1 2-3 innings. Rinku Singh gave up two runs on two hits in 1 2-3 innings. Pat Ludwig struck out the side in one scoreless inning.
GCL - GCL Pirates (36-24) - Beat the GCL Cardinals 1-0. Colten Brewers pitched four innings of one hit ball, striking out four. Jackson Lodge (1-2, 3.08 ERA) got the win after pitching two scoreless innings. Bryton Trepagnier also pitched two scoreless innings and Roberto Espinosa pitched one scoreless for his first save. Luis Urena (.200) went 1 for 2 and drove in the only run on the game.
