Minors: Good start for Nick Kingham, Jose Osuna hits 16th home run

There will be no recap of the Pirates games for the next couple of days actually. I slept through my alarm on Sunday so I only saw the final three innings of that game. And the first two games of the San Diego series are 10:05 starts and I start work and 10:00 so I won't see any of those two games. Should be back to the norm on Wednesday.

Transactions: Jose Tabata was recalled from AAA Indianapolis to take Starling Marte's spot on the roster. Marte was placed on the disabled list with an oblique strain. Expect a couple other roster moves to take place on Monday. Jordy Mercer is expected to go on paternity leave for three days. Also, the Pirates will need to call someone up to start against San Diego on Monday night after Wandy Rodriguez was used in the 19 inning marathon against St. Louis on Sunday.
